Smart IO

Smart IO OSIO is a programmable smart I/O family built on a high performance microcontroller. It was developed to bring advanced control, monitoring and communication capabilities to complex automotive and mobile system architectures.

The module provides a large number of configurable input and output channels for maximum flexibility in system design. Each channel can be programmed independently as a digital input, digital output, PWM output, frequency input, analogue measurement interface or smart high side / low side driver, according to the requirements of the application. Integrated diagnostics and protection features enable real time load monitoring, fault detection and improved system safety.

With its CAN Bus and LIN Bus communication interfaces it integrates seamlessly into modern in-vehicle network topologies. It supports reliable real time data communication, distributed system control and advanced diagnostic functions.

Designed for demanding automotive conditions, Smart IO OSIO delivers high durability and stable performance under vibration, temperature variation and electrical transients. Its hardware and software architecture is optimised for reliability, long service life and mission critical applications.
